Kool Deadwood Nites brings car lovers together for four days full of classic cars, classic music and classic fun. It’s a 50’s and 60’s sock hop – Deadwood style. Enjoy parades, show and shines and FREE concerts on Main Street featuring the biggest names in rock ‘n roll history.

Thursday, August 23
• Car Registration – 9am-8pm – Deadwood Welcome Center – 501 Main Street – RESERVED PARKING ALL WEEKEND for registered cars in adjacent parking lot, first come-first served.
• Owners Only BBQ – 1-6pm – Deadwood Gulch Gaming Resort
• People’s Choice Awards Voting, Live DJ and Games – 4pm – History and Information Center Parking Lot, portions of Deadwood Main Street and the Welcome Center Parking Lot
• 10th Annual Sock Hop – Featuring The Grass Roots – 7pm-10pm – Main Street
• People’s Choice Awards Results – Following the Concert – Main Street

• Rod Run Breakfast – 8am-10am – FREE breakfast for Rod Run participants – sponsored by the Lodge at Deadwood
• Car Registration – 9am-7pm – Deadwood Welcome Center, 501 Main Street

• Denny Menholt Rapid Chevy Rod Run – 10am-2pm – Escorted tour through Spearfish or Vanocker Canyon, Vanocker itinerary includes time at Sturgis Dragway running the NAPA track.

• History on the Lawn: Water Wars – Noon – How dry was it in the 30s? Learn about a water rights dispute in Belle Fourche in May of 1934 that lead to violence. – Adams House Lawn
